Here are some dynamic brushes i made. To use them, set your foreground & background colors to 2 different shades of green or brown (or whatever), set them to the size you want, & brush, or stroke a path with them. They look best if you do 2 different layers & set the top to multiply. Just play around with different blend modes & colors.

FREE for personal AND commercial use. Spread the photoshop joy around. But if you do use them, i'd appreciate it if you'd show me some love... maybe include a link so i can see what fabulous things you make with them!

I have no idea why no one has commented on this brush set yet. I love it! The grass is indeed a bit unreal, but it is PERFECT for the project I'm working on. Thank you so much for this. It's probably the most useful brush I have in my collection.

btw- i have a larger version of the preview, i just didn't have time to upload it before work was over. i plan on uploading it tomorrow morning. these brushes really do look like grass. there IS a certain illustrative element to them bc there just always is in my work. i suck at realism & don't particularly like it, anyways. but these are pretty damn close.
